In 1947, the National FFA Board of Directors designated the week of George Washington’s Birthday as National FFA Week; it is celebrated from Saturday to Sunday, and encompasses February 22. This past week was National FFA Week – a week that gives members the chance to educate the public about agriculture and show unity throughout the organization.

The Kuna FFA chapter continued the long standing tradition this year, that is, all chapter members wore their official dress on friday. This is to show how united this organization is, as well as allowing members the opportunity to show pride for the Kuna chapter.

To honer National FFA Week, the Kuna FFA chapter purchases donuts from Paul’s Market and delivers them to local businesses, to show our appreciation. Some of these businesses are our local fire station, the Kuna schools, Advanced Family Medical, Kuna Copy and Kuna Melba News. We are endlessly grateful for all the support we receive from within our community, and on behalf of all the Kuna FFA chapter members, thank you!
