Twin Falls and the College of Southern Idaho were swarmed with a sea of blue jackets from April 7th– 10th with FFA members from all over the state. The Kuna FFA chapter had a very successful week at the 79th Annual Idaho FFA State Leadership Convention.

Forty-seven of the 1,450 members and guests were from Kuna. Kuna competed in four team Career Development Events (CDE’s), as well as in the metal challenge, speaking, scrapbook, stars, entertainment, and four proficiency areas. There were also eight state degree recipients and one honorary state degree recipient. Members were moved by the State FFA Vice President- Casey Zufelt’s- retiring address, and welcomed Rachael Ashley as the 2010-2011 State Secretary and Anna Rodriguez as the convention’s state Parliamentarian. Brett Berheim and Chris Ball constructed a 25 pound metal tricycle which was sold at the endowment auction during a session for $400 which was the high selling item of the day. Congratulations to all participants for their hard work.Farm Business Management 1st place team
