Kuna Ag Mechanics Team Going to Nationals!

The Kuna FFA chapter started off summer with the State Career Development Events (CDE’s). Kuna sent 23 students to compete in 8 CDE’s. The Agriculture Mechanics team won at the state level, qualifying the team to compete at the national level in October.

Kuna FFA Students Attend National Soils Event

Kuna sent a state-winning Soils Evaluation team to Oklahoma the second week of May to the National Soils Career Development Event (CDE). This event is separated into two parts. The Landsite event challenges members to evaluate an area’s potential to grow crops or be worked. This takes into account the soil quality, how easy it is to move across the land, and the amount of water present. read more…
Chapter Banquet Report

The Kuna FFA is ready to kick off another great year after their 2011 Chapter Banquet was held April, 25th. During the night, awards were presented and recognition given out for achievements throughout the year. The chapter also presented more than $15,000 in scholarships and installed new officers for the 2011-2012 year. read more…
