Kuna FFA members demonstrated their ability to conduct a meeting at the Boise Valley District (BVD) Parliamentary Procedure Career Development Event (CDE). The Freshman Parliamentary Procedure team consisted of Zach Negomir, Dalaney Soto, Quinn Christensen, Amanda Reynolds, Zach Reynolds, and Chairman Taylor Lee. They competed against a tough Middleton team but Kuna emerged victorious.
Kuna’s Varsity Parliamentary Procedure team also brought home the first place plaque. The team was comprised of Sam Emmert, Michelle Ball, Maggie Reynolds, Hayley Johnson, Secretary Rachael Ashley, and Chairman Brett Blackstock. Between high written test scores, perfect oral question responses, a three way tie for top secretary, and the high chairman, contributed to their success. Congratulations to all team members, good luck and represent the Boise Valley District well at State Leadership Convention in April.
A special thank you to: Samantha Ann Roberts, Anna Rodriguez, and Katelyn Szatkowski for helping run the clocks and cameras at the contest, and Mr. Dygert and Mr. Blackstock for coaching the teams.
