From June 7th – 11th Vandal gold and black gave way to FFA blue and gold. Members from the Kuna FFA Chapter traveled to Moscow, Idaho and competed at the State Career Development Events (CDE’s). They competed in 8 events: Agronomy, Meats Technology, Dairy Cattle Evaluation, Livestock Evaluation, Ag Mechanics, Forestry, Dairy Foods, and Environmental & Natural Resources.
The agronomy team which consisted of Joshua Winger, Brynn Powell, Mark Nebeker, and Kaisa Werner took top honors in the state, and will represent Idaho at the national convention next fall. Each team member placed in the top ten individually. Joshua Winger scored a perfect score in all areas, and was the top individual in the state. Brynn Powell placed 2nd, Mark Nebeker was 3rd, and Kaisa Werner rounded out the top ten taking 9thplace overall.
