Students wishing to attend the Washington Leadership Conference this summer need to submit their application by February 21, 2014. The application is posted on the Forms/Apps page of the website. Preference is given to juniors, but sophomores may also apply.
Also available is an application for the Dwaine Tesnohlidek WLC Scholarship. Mr. Tesnohlidek was a Fruitland FFA advisor and mentor to many past Idaho FFA leaders. He had an unwavering belief in the potential of all of his students, and in this spirit, the WLC scholarships will be given in his honor to sophomore or junior Idaho FFA members who show strong potential for leadership. The scholarship will pay for the WLC registration fee, the cost of the airline ticket (up to $560), and $100 in spending money. Applications must be postmarked by March 5, 2014.
