Nationals Again!

Kuna FFA participated in State Career Development Events in Moscow, ID on June 4th-8th. They competed against FFA chapters from around the state to determine who represents Idaho at the national FFA convention. After weeks of grueling studying the students’ efforts paid off with two teams headed to nationals and five others placing in the top ten.
- Livestock Evaluation – 8th place: Macy Hagler, Zack Reynolds, Mark Nebeker, Dustin Zabel
- Forestry – 10th place: Max Blitman, Henry Wilson, Zak Moffat, Ben Christensen
- Food Science – 13th place: Kendra Flavel, Caitlyn Shankel, Kendra Summerall, Shannon Tully
- Agricultural Mechanics – 11th place: Lucas Glenn (2nd place – Small Engines), Mackenzie Peace, Austin Drake
- Agronomy – 3rd place: Maggie Reynolds (3rd place), Amanda Reynolds (9th place), Zack Reynolds, Nate Kessel
- Dairy Cattle Evaluation – 1st place: Jeni Hagler (5th place), Libby Reynolds (8th place), Anna Rodriguez (10th place), Maggie Reynolds
- Environmental & Natural Resources – 4th place: Jeni Hagler (3rd place), Chris Ball (7th place), Henry Wilson, Yomar Arnold
- Dairy Foods – 7th place: Hailee Hayes, Alyssa Shankel, Kristina Artley, Cassie Drake
- Meats Evaluation – 1st place: Samantha Roberts (1st place), Mark Nebeker (4th place), Anna Rodriguez (6th place), Brett Blackstock
The Dairy and Meats teams will join Kuna’s state winning farm business management and horse evaluation teams as they travel to Indianapolis in October to compete at the national FFA convention.
Kuna FFA Wraps Up Another Successful Year

The Kuna FFA Chapter held its 63rd annual Chapter Banquet on Monday, April 30, 2012. 280 FFA members, parents, and guests attended the banquet where over $21,000 worth of scholarships were awarded, with 90 plus awards, and the installment of the 2012-13 Kuna FFA Chapter officers.
